The Sea Eagle FishSUP 126 is built for one thing: fishing. At 40 inches wide with a 500 lb capacity, you can load it with a cooler, tackle crate, rod holders, and a fish finder without worrying about stability. The included swivel seat lets you sit during long waits between bites. Paddling performance suffers from the extreme width, but if your fishing spots are close to launch and you value a rock-solid platform, this delivers.

On-Water Performance

The Sea Eagle FishSUP 126 12’6″ delivers solid performance across the key metrics that matter for fishing. At 40″ wide, it provides excellent stability for casting and gear management. The twin removable side fins provides reliable tracking, and the 500 lbs weight capacity handles a full fishing loadout with room to spare.

Build Quality

Construction quality is solid for the price point. The deck pad provides comfortable, grippy footing even when wet, and the overall build inspires confidence that this board will handle the demands of regular fishing use. At 35 lbs, portability is something to consider — you may want a cart or a helping hand for longer carries.

Value Proposition

At $1,099, the FishSUP 126 12’6″ is fairly priced for what you get. Anglers who carry heavy gear loads and prioritize absolute stability over paddling performance

A floating dock — slow but incredibly stable

At 40 inches wide this thing does not move. I am 240 pounds and I can walk around on it, sit in the swivel seat, stand up to cast — all without a wobble. I loaded a 48-quart cooler, full tackle bag, two rods, and a fish finder and still had room. The trade-off is speed. Paddling to your spot takes patience. But once you are there, you have the most stable fishing platform money can buy.

Sea Eagle FishSUP 126 12’6″ FAQ

Common questions about the FishSUP 126 12’6″ for fishing

Consider your body weight plus gear weight to determine the capacity you need. Look for boards at least 33 inches wide for fishing stability. Decide between inflatable for portability or hard shell for performance. Set a realistic budget including aftermarket accessories you may need.
Most SUPs can accept aftermarket accessories like clamp-on rod holders, bungee-mounted crates, and strap-on gear tracks. Boards with built-in gear tracks or mounting points make accessory installation easier and more secure.
Rinse with fresh water after every saltwater session. Store out of direct sunlight when not in use. For inflatables, store partially inflated or loosely rolled. Inspect seams and valves regularly. Apply UV protectant spray every few months for boards stored outdoors.
At minimum, you need a Coast Guard-approved PFD, a leash, and a whistle. We also recommend a waterproof phone case, a small first aid kit, and a signaling device. Check local regulations as requirements vary by state and water type.
